About EUPTD.EU

    Radical transparency
    for equal pay.

EUPTD.EU is an open-source civic initiative. We collect, anonymize, and publish salary data across the European Union so workers, journalists, and policymakers can see the real shape of the gender pay gap.

Built around the EU Pay Transparency Directive

Directive (EU) 2023/970 enters into force across all EU member states by 7 June 2026. It establishes a set of rights and obligations that fundamentally change how companies disclose pay.

    Right to Information

Workers can request average pay levels for the same or equivalent work, broken down by gender.

    Mandatory Reporting

Companies above thresholds must publish gender pay gap reports on a regular cadence.

    Joint Pay Assessment

An unexplained gap of 5% or more triggers a joint assessment with employee representatives.

    Pay Transparency for Applicants

Employers must disclose starting pay or a pay range before the interview.
