Typical advertised range

€63,462–€89,452 per year

The middle of 544 ranges stated in the postings themselves, converted to euros and annualised. Full span observed: €12,000–€950,765.

449 further postings state an hourly rate without saying how many hours a week the job is, so it cannot be turned into an annual figure and is not in the number above.

Data as of 2026-08-31 Euro conversion at the European Central Bank rates of 2026-08-21. Rebuilt from the postings on a schedule rather than live, so the figures move when the corpus is refreshed.

Add what you are paid

Advertised ranges are what employers say. What people are actually paid makes the answer better. Contributions are anonymous, they are checked before they count, and they never appear as your record — only inside an aggregate.

No name, no email, no employer required. We use anonymous salary contributions to improve our market data.

How this number is produced, and what it is not

Every figure comes from the text of a job advertisement. A posting is read, the pay statement is located in it, and the range is stored with the sentence it came from. Nothing is modelled, estimated or filled in: a posting that does not state pay contributes nothing.

  • Sample. 544 advertised ranges, from 72 employers. One posting counts once even when it appears under two company names.
  • The number. The middle of the stated lower bounds to the middle of the stated upper bounds. Not an average, not a model — half of the postings start below the first figure and half end above the second.
  • Currency and period. Converted to euros at the European Central Bank reference rates for 2026-08-21 and expressed per year. Monthly pay is multiplied by twelve; an hourly rate is annualised only when the posting states its working week.
  • What is left out. On-target earnings, total-compensation packages, bonuses and equity: a range that mixes them is not a salary. Postings that state several ranges for one role — one per level, shift or location — are left out entirely rather than collapsed into one span.
  • Country. A posting counts towards a country only when its country is recorded. Of 993 observations, 275 have one; the rest are counted in Europe-wide answers and never assigned to a country.
  • When we say nothing. A question needs at least 8 independent postings, from at least 3 employers, with no single employer above 60% of the sample. Below that the page says so instead of showing a figure.
