System Administrator (Mid-Senior)

You’ll be solving complex challenges and maintaining our own infrastructure with 60PB+ monthly data traffic. Here are its scale and maturity in numbers:

• 6PB+ Ceph storage

• 60PB+ monthly data traffic through our systems

• 300k+ service requests/sec processed

• 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed

In this role, you’ll:

• Work on private cloud and remotely hosted infrastructure configuration, automation, and testing;
• Take care of scaling our infrastructure;
• Ensure that infrastructure systems are monitored, audited, and alerting configured;
• Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and up-to-date with the latest patches and protocols;
• Troubleshoot infrastructure related issues and outages;
• Stay current with the latest infrastructure developments, and tooling available.

Tech Stack:

• Linux;
• SQL;
• ClickHouse;
• Kafka;
• Docker;
• Elastic/Grafana;
• Ansible.

Your skills & experience:

• Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and servers;
• Hands-on experience with automation/configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, SaltStack);
• Proficiency in working with container systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker);
• Familiarity with databases, especially MySQL and Redis-like key-value databases;
• Strong ability to prioritize and focus on high-impact work.

Nice to have:

• Basic experience with Python, Bash, Go, or other languages for custom automation scripting;
• Experience with Kafka/Redpanda;
• Experience with RabbitMQ;
• Experience with HAProxy.

Salary & Benefits:

• Gross salary: from 3000 EUR/month to 6300 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
